MapPairs® Mouse Markers
Developed at the Whitehead
Institute/MIT Genome Center, MapPair® Mouse Markers consist
of over 7,000 unlabeled markers with an average spacing of less than 1 cM.
Currently, more than 1,200 markers labeled with fluorescent dyes are available.*
A complete list of MapPairs® Mouse Markers is available

Genome-Wide Mouse Screening Set
The murine screening set
includes 410 polymorphic markers spaced approximately 3.5 cM apart. The markers
were chosen from over 7,000 microsatellite markers developed by the MIT Center
for Genome Research. A high percentage of the markers have five or more alleles
in the thirteen strains tested. This set is available unlabeled or labeled
with fluorescent dyes.* The markers in the labeled set are multiplexed based
on both allele size and dye color, allowing multiple genotypes per lane. As
a result, this set of 410 MapPairs® Microsatellite Markers fits in just 44 lanes. A complete list of MapPairs® Markers in the Genome-Wide Mouse Screening Set is available
here.
