MapPairs® Human Markers
Thousands of unlabeled human markers are available.
The collection includes CEPH markers developed at Genoscope, Centre National
de Séquençage (1) as well as others from a variety of groups, including the
Marshfield
Institute and the Cooperative
Human Linkage Center (2). Fluorescent-labeled MapPairs® human markers are also available.* The labeled
markers can be multiplexed based on both allele size and dye color, allowing multiple genotypes per lane.
Hundreds of M13-tailed human markers are also available. A complete list of

Genome-Wide Human Screening Sets
Developed at the Marshfield
Institute, these genome-wide sets consist of a larger scan of 405
markers (Version 10) and a smaller scan of 200 markers (Version 10a) approximately
9 cM and 18 cM apart, respectively. They are available unlabeled or labeled
with fluorescent dyes. Markers in the labeled sets are multiplexed based on
both allele size and dye color, allowing multiple genotypes per lane. As a
result, Version 10 can be run in 36 lanes, and Version 10a can be run in 17
lanes. The Single Chromosome Scan Set was developed at the Magainin Institute
of Molecular Medicine (1). The set consists of 516 tri- and tetra-nucleotide
repeats approximately 7 cM apart and is labeled with dyes.* Multiplexed by
chromosome, allele size, and dye color, the set can be run in 43 lanes. A
